Bible Truth Restored

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.           1 Peter 4:11

Why should we read the Bible

Because it is God's message to man, telling him how he came into being, the reason for his existence, and the love of God for His creatures.
It tells of the creation of the world, and it's wonders; how sin entered into it, and how sin will be removed.
It tells of the past history of nations and warns us by their experience. It tells of the present and explains the meaning of the troublous times that are now with us.
It tells of the future, and of the glories of a Kingdom to be set up on this earth and of the Great King-elect who will reign from Jerusalem - the Lord Jesus Christ.
It tells of a Saviour who alone can save us from the power of the grave and give us a place in his glorious kingodm. It tells of One who is ever with us and never forsakes those who put their trust in Him.
Without the Bible and it's wondrous message we would know nothing of God and His purpose. The Psalmist says: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psa. 119:105)
So let us accept the divine advice to LIVE for the Life Everlasting. "So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom" (Psa. 90:12).
Step out of the procession of humanity which is daily walking to the grave, and accept the glorious offer of Life for ever.

That is why you should read the Bible
